Captain Tore Turney was born and raised in South Florida and has been immersed in the world of tournament sport fishing since he was a child. With parents who were avid anglers and a youth spent working the docks at the famous Bud & Mary’s Marina in the Florida Keys, he learned firsthand what it takes to run a professional charter and land trophy fish. Over the years, Tore trained under world-renowned captains, refining his skills, tactics, and knowledge of Florida’s inshore and offshore waters.

With multiple tournament wins, including Overall Champion at the Silver Sailfish Derby in 2003 and 2007, and appearances in Florida Sportsman and Reel Adventures TV, Captain Tore has earned a reputation as one of the most passionate, knowledgeable, and energetic captains in West Palm Beach. Known for his “make your own luck” attitude, he combines tournament-tested expertise with a love for sharing the thrill of fishing with guests of all ages.
